Why Environment Matters
Across Kenya, families already face unpredictable rains and shrinking harvests. At Tulivu Foundation, we protect opportunities for future generations by restoring the environment, increasing on-farm biodiversity, and integrating trees with crops and livestock to stabilize yields. Agroecology and agroforestry are at the heart of our climate action. We mobilize grassroots groups, schools, and young people to act tree planting, community clean-ups, school kitchen gardens, and hands-on environmental education. By pairing conservation with livelihoods – fruit and timber trees, beekeeping, and climate-smart farming – we’re growing greener landscapes and resilient communities that can thrive

Community Groups & Environment Clubs
We empower 250+ members across 10 grassroots groups and school clubs to lead hands-on climate action. From clean-ups and tree planting to agroforestry and environmental education, these champions protect local ecosystems and help safeguard Kenya’s critical water catchment landscapes.
Tree Nurseries & Planting Campaigns
Over 100,000 trees planted in Meru County with more than 50,000 seedlings ready for replanting. Our goal: 10 million trees across Mt. Kenya counties in the next 5 years.
School Green Clubs
school clubs established, training 150+ climate champions in peer-to-peer learning. By 2027, we aim to expand to 100 clubs and nurture 2,500 young climate activists.
Tree-to-Income Pipeline
Every tree is tracked from seed to maturity using smart mapping. After 10–12 years, farmers earn from a guaranteed buy-back — turning conservation into a reliable income stream
